The 2011 Market Season is over
Thanks to all of our customers, community partners, musicians and vendors for making this market season the biggest and best ever! We're already looking forward to the start of the 2012 Market season at next year's Dandelion Festival!
2011 AGM
The Kemptville Kinsmen Farmers' Market’s Annual General Meeting and Potluck Dinner will take place on Monday, November 7th, 6:30 pm at the branch restaurant, 15 Clothier Street East, Kemptville. All vendors are encouraged to attend! Please bring along a dish to share with others. Soft drinks, tea and coffee will be provided. There will also be a cash bar.
We'll get underway at 6:30pm with the potluck meal, a slide show, and a recap of highlights of the current Market season. The “business” part of the meeting will follow, to begin around 8:00pm. The Executive Committee has a few items to present, followed by an election for KKFM Executive positions that need to be filled for the 2012 season.
Please note that we are still actively looking for current Vendors interested in running for positions on the Executive. If you are interested, please let Mike & Eileen know a.s.a.p., and they will pass your name on to Tom Byrne who will be facilitating this year’s election.

We are a producers' market providing seasonally available, locally grown or produced vegetables, fruit, beef, chicken, lamb, sausage, herbs, flowers, seedlings, baked goods, bread, beverages, cannoli, chocolate truffles, crepes, honey, Indian and Thai cuisine, maple products, preserves, arts & crafts and more!
The Market runs every Sunday from 2 to 4 pm from June to Thanksgiving. Visit us at Riverside Park, off Reuben Crescent in Old Town Kemptville.

One question we get asked all the time is: "Why does your market start at 2:00?" We are primarily a producers’ market, and by starting later in the day our growers (and of course all our producers of bread and baked goods) can harvest or bake in the morning so our customers get the freshest products possible. Just imagine when the products being offered for sale at markets that begin at 8:00 or 9:00 was picked/baked. We know that you will appreciate the freshness in the goods you will find at the Kemptville Kinsmen Farmers’ Market.
