Chris Morgan was born and raised in Montreal and later lived in Rosemère, Quebec. He’s now a

proud “20-year Newbie” of Kemptville. A former teacher, Chris has been singing nearly his

whole life (at least since he learned to talk). He’s 32-years married to his lovely wife Nancy, who

runs The Workshop Dance Studio, and they have two sons, Peter and Michael (who’s married to

Sophia). Chris bought his first guitar 55 years ago to teach music to his students and hasn’t put

it down since. He sings with the Kemptville Male Choir, the St. John’s United Church Choir, and

the Jingle Jangle Choir. A lifelong fan of John Denver, Chris also enjoys sharing the occasional

joke—whether people ask for it or not.
